Information We Collect
When you use Fix Her Quote, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and vehicle details (year, make, model, mileage, VIN). We also collect the repair description and any uploaded estimates or photos. For shops, we collect business name, owner name, contact details, address, and services offered. We also collect basic device and usage data, and use cookies to operate and improve the service.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to match drivers with nearby shops, to operate and improve the service, to communicate with you about bids and your account, and to prevent fraud and abuse. Pricing from your original estimate is stored privately and is never shared with bidding shops.
How We Share Your Information
We share anonymized job details (vehicle, repair needed, and ZIP code) with verified shops within 30 miles. Your contact details are shared only with the up to 5 shops that choose to bid on your job. We also share information with service providers who help us run the service, such as hosting, email, and payments. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Social Media and TikTok
We use TikTok's developer tools (Login Kit and Content Posting API) only to publish our own business content to our own TikTok account and to view that account's basic profile information and video statistics. We do not collect or store data about other TikTok users, and TikTok data is used only to manage our own account. You can revoke our access at any time in your TikTok settings.
Data Retention
We keep your repair request and contact information for as long as needed to deliver bids and provide our service, and as required by law. After that, we delete it or remove identifying details.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
Your Rights
You can request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us at hello@fixherquote.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Fix Her Quote is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
